‘Party After Party’ was the most used slogan at the recently concluded annual 4-day Nyege Nyege International Music Festival held at Nile Discovery Beach in Njeru, Jinja district from 5th to 8th of September.
Basing on the fact that there were 5 stages namely ‘Eternal’, ‘Reggae’, ‘Bell Jamz’, ‘Dark’ and of course the main stage where musical performances, live Dj mixes went on through the day and night, ‘ Party After Party’ at the festival meant the movement from one stage to another.
Since the revellers left Jinja in after party moods, the organisers have organised the official Nyege Neye Festival after party event that is set to take place at One54 Culture place located opposite the market in Bunga, Kampala
“Due to popular demand, we will be having a #NyegeNyege2019 2 DAY!! Yesss 2 DAY AFTER PARTY this Friday & Saturday at the One54 Culture in Bunga. The lineup is so lit you need 2 days to experience the urge. Check out teaser for performers. Damage 10k only” Read a Tweet from Nyege Nyege Festival’s official Twitter handle
For the tourists who are still in the country and for the nationals who are still in party mood, the 2-day Nyege Nyege after party is surely one gig should look out for this weekend with only Ug Shs 10,000 (USD 2.7) as the entry fee.
The exciting Nyege Nyege 2019 edition came to an end on Sunday the 8th of September after a blissful 4-day action-packed partying with many visibly exhausted revelers still yearning for more of the marrying making.
Even the best thing always comes to an end but the music, arts and culture festival which has now become arguably Africa’s biggest continues to leave an impressive legacy with revelers and tourists thronging the leafy Nile Discovery Beach as far as Russia, Caribbean, South America, Europe and North America.
