Nile Gold Hosts Expert Talks At Monot Bar As Fans Win Jazz Tickets

Every last Thursday of the month Nile Gold hosts some of Uganda’s top brains who congregate to share ideas and inspirational messages with a wide variety of audiences dubbed Expert Talks. Last night yet another edition was held at Monot Bar in Bugolobi which featured Yvone Koreta, Angella Emurwon, Linda Umuringa Buture Mulira and Kemiyendo Couthino.

The informative program which kicked off at 7Pm saw the discussants share their personal experiences in different topics while having a good time courtesy of sponsors Nile Gold Crystal Malt, Roundbob.com,Creative republic, Buqisi Ruux. The sessions were engaging as the audience asked the panellists lots of questions.

Yvonne Koreta who is a radio personality shared her experiences on the airewaves, Angella Emurwon talked about writing Linda Umuringa tackled the topic “Stress and Depression: The Silent Killer”. Angella talked about creative writing and Kemiyondo Coutinho emphasized the issue of staying focused in a career.

Four tickets were won by lucky revellers who excelled in a quiz session about the upcoming Nile Gold Jazz Safari scheduled to take place at the Lugogo Cricket Oval on 8th October. Mutabazi Geofrey one of the winners was very excited for winning a ticket to the classy Afro-soul and Jazz experience.

“I can’t explain how excited I am. Definitely I can’t wait for the concert” He told Chano8.

This year’s edition features world celebrated Reggae artistes Maxi Priest who will be the top guest headliner of Nile Gold Uganda-sponsored event at the new spacious venue. Organisers have also introduced a new live session dubbed Afro-Soul and Rumba Classics which will be headlined by music legends like Moses Matovu of Afrigo Band, Tony Ssenkebejje and Eddy Ganja. The other most exciting thing is that, they will be joined on stage by talented vocalist Lilian Mbabazi and Saxophonist Michael Kitanda.
