Friday the 3rd of August is the day fans, well-wishers, sponsors and critics anticipate as Big Size Bebe Cool hosts his fans at the upcoming ‘Golden Heart Concert’ slated to take place at Kololo Airstrip under a magnificent dome which can accommodate over 5000 people
While addressing a press briefing which took place at Torino Bar, Kololo on Tuesday, Bebe Cool disclosed how over 40 VVIP tables worth Ug Shs 5 Million each have been bought so far. He further stressed that the maximum Serena Hotel’s Victoria Hall can take is 50 tables and therefore since 40 are bought 2 weeks prior to the concert, it was going to limit his fans interested in tables, that is if the concert stayed at Serena.
That left aside, fans are still showing interest in tables and on Wednesday, 7 more tables were bought off. The ‘Katono’ singer was happy to announce the buyers who are Ravij Ruparelia (3 tables), Gordon Wavamuno (1 day), Captain Mike Mukula (1 table) and two staff members from UAP Old Mutual company (2 tables)
Having held his two previous concerts at Serena Hotel’s spacious Victoria Hall, Bebe Cool feels he has grown bigger. The space at Serena can no longer accommodate his fans and that was the reason he moved the concert from Serena to Kololo Airstrip
It should also be remembered that part of this concert’s proceeds will go to charity as Bebe will fly 5 children to India for heart surgeries, a fortnight after the concert
