For the first time in Uganda, the night’s emcee Nigerian renowned TV presenter E-Hiz took to the stage at 10pm clad in fitting black pants, black suade jacket and a white shirt. He joked about Ugandan men and pulled some dance strokes to keep the crowd fired up. He even engaged in different topics about the Ugandan society throughout the entire night that one would think he’s been In Uganda for a long time contrary to the few hours since his arrival.

The red carpet moment was spectacular as everyone was dressed to kill. Celebrities like city tycoon Jack Pemba, former miss Uganda beauty pageants like Bizoux, Leah Kalanguka and the just recent crowned Zahara Nakiyaga were seen smartly dressed so did other guests like the Queen mother Best Kemigisa and other socialites

However, most of the winners did not make it to the ceremony as they had other obligations elsewhere or perhaps, the long distance affected them just like it did with the revelers. Some of the winners who didn’t show up include Ann Kansiime (best female comedian), Salvado(best male comedian), King Saha(R&B), CBS (Best Radio station), Sam Bagenda (Best actor), Flavia Tumusiime(best female radio presenter),and Goodlyf (Best group) among others.

Performances were made by Minayo, Toniks and Maurice Kirya but it was Reggae maestro Madoxx Ssematimba who wowed the audience with his tracks Oluyimba and Easy

Having started late, the ceremony ended at 3am with the last award given out with just a handful of people still around. In fact, David Lutalo declined to sing because of the few people around.
