The new budding talent and Kiga flow master Amani Amaniga is a man on a mission. After the release of his ‘Zagwa’ hit which has been dominating airwaves in the Western region of the country, the young and talented self proclaimed ‘King of Kigaflow’ has finally lived up to the hype and outed his long awaited monster music video for the song. The video which is considered to be the best and most professionally done by an artiste from that side of the country was shot and directed by one of Uganda’s best videographers Sasha Vybes of Savyfilms.
The video which was loaded on Youtube in the wee hours of this morning was released on time as earlier promised by his new manager Eddie Rush Ntumwa. In the song “Zagwa” meaning ‘they have fallen’ done in his usual hard-hitting emotionally-filled lyrical style, talks about his prediction for the future where he becomes a dominant force in the music industry. Zagwa was produced by the legendary Ugandan producer Henry Kiwuwa and mastered by Tim at HF mastering UK. The video is finally here.
In the music video, Amani tells the story of his street life typicl of hiphop artistes which is always dominated by money, women and monster rides. The rest is Sasha Vybes doing his magic with the camera as he plays with different angles and changes scenes accordingly. The video is already looks destined for great hights and only time will tell how far it will take this son of the soil from the Kiga land.
Real names Byaruhanga Asuman AMANI, the versatile is one artiste determined to reach the top echelons of his music career and representing Western Uganda on the local and international scene. He was born in Kabale district in Western Uganda and started as a Kareoke singer in 2004 before recording his first single “Omukiga womuniga” in 2010.
Since then, he never looked back and has released many other songs like,”Ne Must”, “Kemerwa”, “Oraba Orandabaho”, “Kyahwire”, “Guma” and many more which have earned him different awards both at home and nationally and also won him a respectable fan base that keeps growing by the day..
