If there is anyone who was touched by the situation in Mulago, it was artiste Angela Katatumba and through her Angela Katatumba Development Foundation, she made partnership with the hospital to create awareness about the standards of health care services in the country.
And to prove her participation, Angela donated Shs 10m to Mulago hospital to help buy a phototherapy machine and syringe pump for the special care unit saying.
“Sometimes people have a one-sided view of Mulago. But it is not all doom and gloom. No matter what, we can all end up at Mulago. Since the traffic here is so much, they always need a helping hand.”
And as that was still sinking in, the artiste has also come out and announced that she will be having a VIP Mulago yaffe concert on the 1st of July at Kampala Serena hotel where tickets will be going for shs100,000, 3million for a table of 6 people and 5million for a table of 1o people.
This comes after Angela Katatumba alongside Eddy Kenzo were both nominated in the CEO Global Awards for their exceptional and meaningful contribution towards the music industry.
