Ever since celebrated gossip TV queen Nambooze Annette alias Annatalia Oze launched her 365 Saving challenge campaign under ‘Women for Her’ on 15th March, the star is getting sleepless nights as schools and higher institutions of learning have been asking her to bring on the saving challenge to their hoods.
365 Saving Challenge which was launch at Old Kampala SS targets young girls specifically for mentoring them about financial discipline using Uganda’s top credible personalities including women in media, politics, the private sector foundation and the Centenary Bank team who are also the main partners.
The ‘Uncut’ on NBS Tv show host together with her team has a mission of touring around Uganda spreading the financial gospel along the way. As we write now, news reaching the desk indicates that 365saving challenge has been positively received in northern Uganda where over 20 schools are already participating in the campaign throughout this week.
“We have a dream to tour all regions and schools in Uganda as we mentor and train the girl child about financial discipline”
365 Saving Challenge is a project under ‘Women for Her’ and its future looks to be bright. Am glad to have started off such a financial inclusion project like this and am grateful for all my partners including my work place; Next Media Services, Centenary Bank our partner, Private Sector Foundation and the schools that submit in their positive responses for the project”. Annatalia explained.
The passionate Annatalia also went ahead and talked about the plans she and her partners have for the future;
“We have visited old Kampala where we officially launched, Alliance High School Lungujja, St. Lawrence and many more schools we are going to”. She concluded.
