Anne Kansiime Ready ‘To Break A Leg’ For Her Fans

Top Ugandan Comedienne Ann Kansiime has promised to give her all in the upcoming I am Kansiime show ‘even if it means breaking a leg and an arm’. The hilarious comedienne said at a press conference held today at Imperial Royale Hotel.

Kansiime who confessed to having been inspired by one of her colleagues Patrick Salvado Idringi who organised a similar show last year says she took her time to come up with something like this because she felt she was not yet ready before despite a legion of fans who follow her across the globe.

The One woman show dubbed ‘I am Kansiime’ is slated for Thursday the 24th of March at the same venue and is expected to showcase the best of Kansiime the entertainer with lots of music, dance, sketch-up skits and stand-up comedy from the woman from Kabale who said preparations are on course and whether it means jumping up and down on the stage till she breaks, she is now ready for that.

SMS ONE who is in charge of ticket sales for the concert also announced the charges and sales points. Silver tickets will cost 100,000/- Gold table which of 10 seats go for 3,000,000/-(VIP) while platinum (VVIP) ticket for 10 will go for 5,000,000/- which will be accompanied by various items ranging from Anne Kansiime music CDs, DVDs, snacks and drinks.

Tickets will be available on sale from Friday March 11th 2016 at the following places; National Theatre (Funfactory offices) Shell (Bugolobi, Lugogo, Bukoto and Shell Kampala road).Nakumatt (Bugolobi), Oasis mall, Bukoto and Nakumatt Nalya). Kansiime who is a member of the popular comedy outfit Funfactory also pledged to give back to her community by working with her Kansiime foundations where part of the proceeds will be channelled. She supports needy but bright children by keeping them in school where her project has already kicked off from her home area Kabale with 10 children and intends to support 30 children every year.

The red carpet event will kick off at 7: 00pm but gates will open at 6:oopm with a cocktail where Kansiime herself will serve guests.
