Arsenal was held to a 2-2 draw by defending Champions Manchester City at Emirate stadium in a Lunch time kickoff of the English Premier League today.
Manchester City took the lead through Argentine striker Sergio Kun Aguero after 28 minutes in the first half. But the story would have been different after England striker Danny Welbeck who was making his Arsenal debut after his £16m move from Manchester United hit the post when he run clean through.
Sergio Aguero then made Arsenal pay for that miss by putting City ahead before half-time although Jack Wilshire equalised before Alexis Sanchez saw the looked like they were set for a memorable victory.
Argentine defender Martin Demicelis dashed those hopes when he took advantage of poor marking to beat Arsenal keeper Wojciech Szczesny to earn a point seven minutes from time.
