Bad Black might think she is untouchable on social media but there is one man that she can’t dare mess with and that is the President of Uganda HE Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.
With her big social media following, the former musician made a statement in August last year on her Facebook protesting the continued detention of Kyadondo East Member of Parliament, Mr Robert Kyagulanyi, alias Bobi Wine, who was arrested then and taken into military custody for allegedly stoning President Museveni’s car in Arua.
It is these statements that have led into trouble and consequently being taken for questioning earlier today after she was summoned to the CID to answer some questions regarding the serious allegations she made.
Bad Black, real names Shanita Namuyimbwa was summoned to the Police Directorate of Criminal Investigations for breaching the Computer Misuse Act.
“The offences are serious and we want her to appear to record a statement and tell us the truth about the allegations she made,” said SP Vincent Ssekatte, the spokesman of CID.
In the videos, Bad Black reportedly threw wild allegations towards the government and the president accusing the state of unfairly detaining Bobi Wine who had gone to Arua to campaign for Kasiano Wadri in an election to replace Col. Abiriga who was killed earlier last year.
