Party animals and well wishers stormed One Love Beach Busaabala for the annual ‘Ensasage Ya Easter Monday’ concert courtesy of Bobi Wine which has through the years been a sell out if the crowds we have been seeing is anything to go buy.
The 2018 edition successfully went down yesterday Monday the 2nd of April amid mammoth crowds. There were a lot of headlining artistes who entertained the revellers like Mikie Wine, Fik Fameica, Vinka, Kent and Flosso, King Saha, Fefe Busi, B2C. They did a good job curtain raising for the Ghetto Gladiator as well keeping the crowd engaged.
At a few minutes past 11 PM, the main man Bobi Wine finally took to the stage as the packed to capacity crowd cheered him on. He performed songs like ‘Byekwaso’, ‘Situka’, ‘Time Bomb’ before he was joined by his long time right hand man Nubian Li with whom they performed ‘Number One’, ‘Super Woman’, ‘Kigwa Leero’, ‘Uganda Zuukuka’, ‘Aidah’, ‘Bikwase Kyagulanyi’, ‘Specioza’, ‘Freedom’ among others.
During his performance, he took a special time to observe a moment of silence over the death of Winnie Madikizela Mandela former wife to the late South African first president Nelson Mandela
Just like usual, the crowd was excited and they sang along to Bobi’s songs and it was indeed an Easter Monday well spent
