In a need to provide clean and enough water to Ugandans, Viva Con Agua (Vc A) an international non government organisation that supports water and sanitation projects in the Pearl of Africa will be holding their second annual We Love Youganda Festival on Saturday the 26th of March at the Kamwokya football grounds, next to the Kiira road Police Station, from 4pm to 10pm.
The festival will be free entry, and will bring together music, art, culture and sports activities to support awareness and access to water and sanitation in Uganda. Saturday’s line-up includes a multi-national selection of celebrated music- and visual-artists and above all music performances from the artistes.
The performing artistes are Bobi Wine, Megaloh and Ghanian Stallion,(Germany), Knackeboul (Switzeland) Octopizzo (Kenya ), Maro, Lady Slyke, Abramz and Sylvester, Taye and Spyda MC of Tandika Essaawa, Malika, Sphynx, Agee, Jojo, Jora Mc, Pryce ,Teeba and Abaasa.
The festival shall also see art exhibitions from fine artists namely BjörnHolzweg (Germany) Bobbie Serrano (Germany) Oibele (China), Ronald Ro Kerango (UG), Destreet (UG), Tindi Paul (UG), Jobray Writer, MosOpten, The Ghetto Film Project and Watoto Wasoka as Break Dance Project Uganda, Batalo East and Mambya Dance Co dance groups entertain the revelers with the dance strokes.
An international collabo song is being recorded by top artistes namely Megaloh and the Ghanaian Stallion (Germany), Knackeboul (Switzerland), Octopizzo (Kenya) and Bobi Wine. They will also shoot a music video together, to be released in all four of their countries to promote VcA activities.
