It looks like Bebe Cool’s list of artistes he thinks were the best in 2017 has gotten to many musician’s nerves as everyday someone comes out and throws jibes at the ‘Katono’ singer.
Kenzo was the first to argue out his dissatisfaction of this list and he said that Bebe doesn’t have the moral authority to name the artistes who did well last year and that that should be the job of the media.
On hearing this, Bebe Cool came out and defended his list saying that whoever he didn’t include is not supposed to be there because they didn’t actually have any work.
“That is simply my opinion but all those artistes that are complaining don’t want to take in facts. The truth is that the young generation has taken over and they ruled 2017. Eddie Kenzo is no longer young and can’t compete with Fik Fameica. You can’t name more than two songs last year from so called ‘Big artistes’. Goodlyfe were only saved by jumping on B2C’s song,” he said.
Bebe Cool also claimed that Kenzo has failed to know where he belongs because can’t fit in the new generation while he has failed to fix himself among the big Ugandan artistes.
He justified his reasoning saying that those artistes who are pissed with his list are under pressure because of the new generation musicians.
