It’s been long since Team No Sleep’s female Dancehall artiste Sheebah featured on NTV The Beat show and she finally made an appearance yesterday the 4th of January. She came to update her fans on her latest projects, flash a light on how 2017 went down and at the same time premiere her freshest video to her ‘Weekend’ featuring Nigeria’s Runtown.
The interview went on well until it was time for receiving phones from viewers when one caller who identified himself as Firebase ambassador from Nateete called in and commented negatively about Sheebah’s dress code.
“How are you lady in studio? What I like most about you these days, you nolonger go nude like those days. You used to wear skimpy cloths yet you don’t have a booty to shake.” The caller arrogantly said before he hang up
We know at times people do these kind of things to sabotage the artistes but Sheebah just laughed it off.
“We should really expect this, for me as a woman I get disrespected every day, sometimes I cry but I noticed something. Those are not your fans, that person who just called is not my fan and that is why I am not hurt. Someone who comes to comment on my Instagram negatively is not my fan. Someone who loves me won’t say the negative side of me, they will try and look for the positive and if they criticise you, they have a way they do it.”
That left aside, Sheebah lauched her Karma Queeen album at a sold out VIP listeners’ party that went down at Sky Lounge on 21st December 2017 and she ushered 2018 in with her Rwanda fans at the Kigali Night festival.
