There were very big casualties of the cupsets the FA cup can serve with last weekend probably the biggest of all shockers as 10 of the premier league teams were shown exists. The top teams which were knocked out included Chelsea, Manchester City, Southampton and Tottenham Hot Spurs.
The mood of the weekend cupsets was set on Friday when the mighty Manchester United were forced to a replay with a goal-less draw by League Two side Cambridge United who lie 79 places below them in the league pyramid.
However, the biggest and arguably mother of all shocks happened at Stamford Bridge where Chelsea were kicked out by League One Bradford who came down from 2-0 to beat the premier league table toppers 4-2 leaving Manager Jose Mourinho embarrassed and called it [the loss] a disgrace.
Manchester city were also kicked out by Championship side Middleborough when they lost 2-0 at home at the Etihad Stadium after arriving less than 20 hours from a warm weather training stint in the Middle East.
High flying Southampton who lie third in the premier league, were shown the exit by Leister City were followed out by Spurs knocked out by Crustal Palace and Swansea who were beaten by Blackburn Rovers
Another premier league giant Liverpool FC also survived a scare of an upset when they were held at home to 0-0 draw by Bolton Wanderers with Arsenal scrapping through to the fifth round with a 3-2 win over Brighton in a dramatic encounter.
