On Monday night the 7th of May 2018, singer Chris Evans survived death narrowly after he was attacked and waylaid on his way back home. According to his manager Geoffrey Kayemba, this incidence happened in Lungujja, a Kampala city suburb. The thugs dragged Evans out of his car, hit him with hammers on the head, before they later took his car, a Toyota Wish, registration Number UAZ, 399J.
The singer was then rushed to Mengo Hospital where he received treatment that he responded to. He was actually discharged on Tuesday morning and as we talk now, the singer is tremendously responding to more medication from his home
Talking about the beating, it was surrounded with a lot of controversy as some people especially the singer’s critics were alleging that Evans had sustained the nasty head injuries as he had gone to fornicate with someones wife but as Chano8 we are not going to follow things we are not sure about.
The whole of this week, Chris Evans’ fans have been worried thinking that their favourite artiste is in danger but going by the words his Manager Kayemba further told Chano8, fans don’t have to be worried at all but send prayers to the singer
“He is improving slowly and he did not sustain any serious injuries apart from the wounds he was left with. The thugs did not break his skull so there is nothing much the fans have to be worried about. He is now battling with those injuries to get healed” Kayemba told Chano8.
His car which had been stolen by the thugs was later found abandoned in Kigaga zone, Mutundwe and this information was announced by the Kampala Metropolitan police spokesman, Luke Owoyesigyire
All Chano8 can tell Chris Evans fans is be take heart and send more prayes to the artiste who will recover and get back on scene soon.
