Organised by House Of Djs Uganda and powered by Tusker Malt Lager, last year at the 15th edition of   Blankets Wine Kampala, Tanzania’s Alikiba left revellers asking for more and for close to four months later, fans had been waiting for the 16th edition that went down successfully last Sunday the 30th of April at Lugogo Cricket Oval in Kampala.

Going to take place three times and no longer four like the previous years, this edition had a bigger number of headlining performers who entertained the attendees especially basing on one fact that most of the music genres from Reggae, Dancehall, RnB, Hip Hop and Soul were represented by the artistes.

The afternoon drizzle that first changed the weather in Kampala did not hinder people from thronging Lugogo and dressed to impress in different fashion styles with the ladies taking the lead, revellers began marching in the venue as early as 4PM and later were seen booking the best spots near the stage to enjoy the performances which were kicked off by Pelinda, Essie, Apio Moro, Afrie and Joash on a good note.

With all the excitement, fans crowded near the stage to watch Legendary Afrigo Band’s performance who were the next performers.
