Every last Thursday of the month, there is plot for music lovers as the popular unplugged show at club silk returns.
The show that sees artists showcase their talents and mingle with their fans is sponsored by Club beer and takes place every Thursday at club silk. After a break that saw the stage revamped, the show is back and better with Neon lighting and stage set all improved. The sound is also changed with new equipment added.
The show which kicked off at 11Pm started with the Band playing some Jazz and Reggae tunes to warm up the stage. Rabadaba was the first on stage among the featured artists and he kicked off with his old songs like ‘Musanvu kitundu’, ‘Bbwekiri’, ‘Olimubi’
Although the MC announced Nince Henry was next, it was later changed when the artist was nowhere to be seen and Don MC had to take over after a long wait. He did did some of his popular rap flows before Nince eventually showed up. He also had along session with fans getting off to their feet when he did his popular hit song Mpola Mpola. He kept assuring the crowd that he is the love magician who sings basing on five love theories he had developed.
When Rabadaba came on stage again for his second session, he started by telling everyone how ‘bad’ he is by singing Rabada Mukyamu mukyamu, mukyamu. He also performed his collabo with ‘Love portion’ with Don MC and ‘You know’ with Lydia Jasmine. Don Mc crowned the performances with his second session late in the night as the fair crowd that also included artists like Bebe Cool, and DJ Shiru
