Last year, two concerts featuring two Jamaican Reggae and Dancehall artistes Tarrus Riley and Gyptian were cancelled following the lack of sponsorship. Reggae lovers and well wishers at large were left disappointed despite organisers’ explanations, promising to communicate new dates for those concerts.
Following the failure of those concerts, The ‘Reggae Fest Jam’ slated for Saturday the 24th of March featuring one of Jamaica’s Reggae superstars Anthony B is a concert Reggae and Dancehall lovers chose to look forward to and YES it set to take place hook or crook.
Video drops confirming Anthony B’s coming have been doing rounds on social media as well as TV stations and as we talk now, Anthony B and his entourage are aboard Turkish Airlines coming to Uganda. This was confirmed by a videos sent by Antony before he set off destined for Uganda.
“Yes Uganda Kampala, we are on our way coming to Uganda remember it is March the 24th at Legends Grounds, Come out and show your support.” Anthony B said in the video
This is more than confirmation and when Chano8 talked to an insider from the team flying the Jamaican sensation to the Pearl of Africa, she told us that Anthony is expected to touch ground at 4AM on Thursday morning the 22nd of March.
