It was a wrap for Coopy Bly on Saturday as he embarked on a serious journey to his next phase of life by bidding ‘farewell to bachelorhood’ in style with a colourful concert at the MTN arena in Lugogo on Saturday. He is set to marry his longtime girlfriend Annie Marie on November 25th
The dread-locked gospel artiste real names http://Emmanuel Edwin Kusaasira, had a fair crowd to cheer him on at his concert dubbed ‘One Last Time’ as he performed almost all his songs from way back to his latest songs to a lively crowd that stayed on their feet for most of the evening and sang along to his live performance.
Coopy did not do it alone but also had a line up of some of the top gospel artistes like Robinson, Levixone, Holy Keane Amooti, Caanan Gents, Cooper and G-Way as well as veterans Pastor Wilson Bugembe and Martin Sekku literally bringing the roof down with some of the popular songs. With Sekku in particular bring some fresh energy with his electric dance moves.
The award winning 27-year-old gospel reggae/ragga and dance-hall artiste had a 2-hour show which was punctuated by cameo appearances by the veterans and a brief prayer session. He only allowed the curtain raisers one song each and limited their performances to the top drawer songs for example Levixone only performed ‘Ani’, Cooper only did ‘Big Godo’ and Holy Keane ‘Jah’ with only Bugembe given more time as Coopy took a break.
Coopy who also gave tribute to his Grandmother who was in attendance, praised her for being the ‘best granny’ alive after playing a big role in his upbringing as he did both old and latest songs like ‘Nyweza’, ‘Guruka’, ‘Onsalangako’, ‘Nkulembera Mukama’, ‘What A Love’, ‘Akikwasaganya’. His parents Patrick and Justine Buyinza were also in attendance and had a real nice dance on stage. The concert was sponsored by Urban TV, Vimba, Illumina, Spire the usual suspects among others
