Jamaican Dance Hall Star Collin Demar Edwards aka Demarco is in town for the highly anticipated annual Club Silk street jam slated for tomorrow Saturday 10th May at Industrial Area on 1st street. The Dance Hall Star who jetted in the country on Wednesday night is here for the second time. The first being in 2012 where he performed at the cricket oval. That concert was dubbed a flop by many people in the media circles. He is therefore returning to prove his critics wrong.
According to the organisers Club Music, Demarco is here to clear the air about how relevant and big he is in the industry. He wants to prove to critics that he is capable of pulling a big crowd as he will be the main attraction for tomorrow’s Street jam.He has promised ‘to give the best’ to Ugandans
The Jamaican star who is famous for his club bangers like; Fallen Soldiers, I love my life, Sort dem out, Duppy Know Who Fi, Frighten, We miss you, Dem a work amongst others, has also collabos with Ugandan artists like Peter Miles and is expected to put up a good performance. He was accompanied local music promoter Suudi Lukwago and his backup crew
Many local artists have already been lined up to curtain raise for the weekend do. The over 20 artists include big names like Dr.Jose Chameleone, Peter Miles(Hit song collabo ‘blessing’) Hiphop star Navio, Irene Ntale of the Katambala fame, Young Mulo among others .
Entry fee for the concert is 15,000/= and gates open at 4:00PM
