The Mith released the most anticipated album ‘Destination Africa’ yesterday at Gato Mato.
The release party was a star studded event with the likes of Keko, Navio, Enygma, Big Trill, Patrobas, Abrams, Ruyonga, Salvado, Flavia and Susan Naava among others all turning up to show their support for Mr. So Ug.
With Gato Mato full to the brim, fans were not disappointed as performances from Forever Ever, Abrams, Navio, Ruyonga and Lyrical G (who reminded us why he’s called the godfather of hip hop in the Ugandan Music Industry), kept them excited.
The man of the moment ‘The Mith’ was joined on stage by fellow rapper Ruyonga who was backing him up. The performance was flawless, as they kept engaging the revelers while showcasing their lyrical prowess.
The highlight of the show was when upcoming singer Ekky came on stage to perform alongside The Mith. Dressed in black hot pants, the singer left little to the imagination when she gave him a ‘rub-a-dub.’ With The Mith stunned, he managed to smile amidst ululating fans.
The ‘Destination Africa’ release party came to a conclusion after The Mith released the music video of ‘Go Hard’ which he had earlier dropped trailers for. With that said, the release party was truly awesome, especially for all the hip hop fans who turned up in big numbers.
