Uganda is among the few African countries that United Kingdom musician Joss Stone will be visiting during her African tour.
The musician will be in Uganda on the 18th of January for a show that is made possible by Tilapia cultural foundation at Design Hub in Industrial area for a fee of Ug Shs 50,000.
Already, she has visited and performed in Ethiopia and Rwanda with reviews about the show being positive and well attended.
Her world tour is about self-promotion and reaching out to fans and music lovers everywhere, especially where access to international artists maybe limited.
Besides that, the artiste wants to give a chance to any Ugandan artiste record with her in order to let the international music industry discover new talent.
Joss Stone is an English singer, songwriter and actress who rose to fame in late 2003 with her multi-platinum debut album, The Soul Sessions, which made the 2004 Mercury Prize shortlist.
