The Bobi Wine-Buganda Kingdom’s royal treasury Busaabala land wrangles that saw the demolition of part of Bobi’s One Love Beach are still in the news with the latest being that the self proclaimed Ghetto president wrote a passionate letter to the Kabaka (king) of Buganda although we haven’t heard any reply from the king.
However, in the wake of all this, Bobi Wine and the entire Fire Base Entertainment were gearing for the annual Ensassagge Ya Easter Monday concert slated for the 17th of April . The irony is that the demolished part of the beach included part of the motorable road to beach’s main gate but regardless of this ‘unjust act’ as Bobi Wine called it, he is ready to put up a mega performance for his fans come D day.
Chano8 tried to contact Bobi Wine for a comment but by the time we went to press, he could not pick up his phone.
The Ensassagge Ya Easter Monday concert boasts of a lot of activities slated to take place like boat cruises, beach games, jaw dropping performances from artistes like Eddy Yawe, David Lutalo, King Saha, Ceaserous, Mary Bata and Fire Base entertainment members like Nubian Li, Mikie Wine, Banjo Man, Bilangi Langi, Dax Vibes among others.Entry fee is only Ug Shs 10,000 and 5,000 for children.
Well, for those who still have no idea on what happened, Last Friday the 7th of April, officials from the kingdom’s royal treasury (Nkuluze) backed with some police officers, demolished some of the developments including a parking space Bobi had set up at his One Love Beach Busaabala’s land with the aid of graders basing on the fact he was occupying it illegally although they say that they warned him.
