Friday Night Lights Limited (FNL) is a sports management company that specialises in basket ball development in Uganda. Being one of the most interesting and eye catching games, the company’s basket ball tournament that has been here for 5 seasons, is again back with the sixth season (Sixth Coming). Today the team held a press conference at Sheraton Hotel Kampala’s Lake Room 1.
Starting off at 10 pm and hosted Allan Musoke, it enlightened the media about what they have in stock come tomorrow the 26 of February. While addressing journalists, Sam Sebaduka one of the members on the organising team FNL said.
“The Friday Night lights is a basket Ball event aimed at giving back to the basket ball fans that have supported the beautiful game of basket ball throughout the years. What we do is create teams where by the fans get to win money and all sorts of prises we give out from balls, t-shirts and flat screen TV’s.”
“We are trying to manage the game of basketball and this is our six year.” He added. Tomorrow action begins at the Wandegeya based Institute YMCA with an opening match between teams Wazee and Enabu at 6.30 pm. Other teams include Malinga, Duxx, O’ Team, Blick, Cyprus and Okidi.
The action will continue on Saturday and all matches will begin from 6.30pm to 11:30pm. For the next 5 weeks, FNL will be making it happen where the above mentioned teams will play each other until the last Friday when the champion is crowned.
