The Nyege Nyege festival is now officially the biggest event to look out for on the social calendar. Top on the agenda is music but being an arts festival, there is always more to look out for.
We shall get back to the arts later as the 5 stages had their own action and stories to remember. And leading by example is none other than sponsors Bell Larger whose Bell experience village is something that will stay in the memory of many revellers.
First, they had a mobile studio for anyone willing to record music and Beenie Gunter actually did a piece that is rocking the air waves soon.
The Bell village had board games and even Karaoke sessions with music blurring all day long with Ugandan and regional music dominating as well as Jamaican dancehall music.
Just like Bell, Uganda Waragi also had a colorful park with their Go Loco beach setting and corporate patronage with a relaxing ambiance. Games, face painting and body art too ruled with revelers enjoying different kinds of cocktails. And the white sand spiced it all as silent disco ruled at night with DJs playing different mixes and genres from the many channels.
