On Thursday the 21st of December, singer David Lutalo announced his next concert to take place at one of the most feared venues by artistes Lugogo Cricket Oval and some people thought he was joking but with the success of his two previous ‘Manya’ and ‘Onsanuula’ concerts at Hotel Africana in 2016 and 2017 respectively, we are convinced he will manage to get a crowd big enough to for this venue.
Come Friday the 26th of January, Lutalo will host his fans at the ‘Woololo’ concert which is a few weeks from now and the preparations are already in high gear to make this a success.
When Chano8 contacted Lutalo’s the public relations officer Mr Kasuku a presenter on Dembe FM, here is what he had to say.
“It is time we moved a step higher in our career and of course make our mark in this business. We expect attendance and claim our place so it is something that will be massive, we have prepared for it very well and we anticipate that history will be rewritten on that day”
Organised by Balaam Advertising Agency, this concert sponsored by Africell, Coca Cola, Bell and Bukedde TV 1 is expected to see Lutalo showcase the work he done after his previous concert and revellers will pay Ug Shs 20,000, 50,000 and 1 million for a table respectively.
Speaking of Lugogo Cricket Oval, artistes Jose Chameleone and Gravity defied the odds of getting an encouraging crowd that filled it and let us wait and see how Lutalo’s concert will go. Chano8 will keep in the know of any new developments concerning this much acclaimed concert.
Here are some highlights of how Lutalo’s ‘Onsanuula’ concert went down last year
