If you are a social media freak, you will testify that of late Dancehall artiste A Pass has been and is still on rampage, flooding all his social media platforms with controversial posts which have since then been a debate. If he is not claiming to be Uganda’s best ever artiste, he will diss all the other artistes’ songs.
Well, that left aside, about a week ago, A Pass made a statement that looked like jibes directed at Jose Chameleone and in a way degraded the self proclaimed music doctor who recently made history of being the first ever Ugandan artiste to fill Lugogo Cricket Oval with fans at his ‘Legend Hit After Hit’ concert.
“I feel like telling you more of my plans but most of you are emotional and childish… but I don’t give a damn I will tell you anyway, I am the musical Legend and I better a million if anyone can prove me wrong. I hear people say they are legends I don’t believe it at all #million issa lie” A Pass’ Facebook post read.
This post received both negative and positive reception from Facebook users but Chameleone chose to remain silent until yesterday when NTV’s Douglas Lwanga got him talking about this. While hosted on the Daily ‘NTV The Beat’ program, Douglas read him A Pass’ post and here is what he said.
“You cannot become a Legend in two, four or ten years, this is not something I am trying to claim, this is what I deserve and if my little brother A Pass is trying to reach out on me in particular, it’s a very good move for him because it will add a lot of mileage on him if he is talking about me but as a person I will advise him to hit the studio and justify those words.” Chameleone said
And it seems Chameleone was not interested in the topic as he quickly moved on and started talking about other things other than ‘wasting time’ on A Pass who has rubbed many people the wrong way on social media and other platforms before.
