“I Can Take My Daughter To School In Peace”- Cindy

Seasons come and go, the elections season came, although it hasn’t gone, soon it will. This one was really highly anticipated especially by the registered voters. We thank all Ugandans who kept peace throughout the elections.

Now that the first phase of electing the president and members of parliament is done, today we shall see the local government leaders being elected too. Female dancehall artiste Cindy is one who is pleased by way the masses kept it peace.

“I’m happy that the elections were peaceful and even after. I’m happy to see how concerned the authorities are about security. Now that the voting is done let’s all accept the results and work with whoever won. There’s no other way around it.” Cindy told Chano8.

Well, wondering what’s new from Cindy? ‘Still Standing’ and ‘Bukolomoni’ featuring Byaxy, a fast rising raga-dancehall artiste are among her freshest tracks. She also has an upcoming event that will see her and her band showcase to their fans the best of the music song by song.

‘The Saturday Band Night’ featuring the ‘One and Only’ hit singer will take place at the Bugolobi-Kampala based hang out spot called Liquid Silk this Saturday. Fans prepare for a serious music showcase from 8pm up to midnight.
