Jody is an upcoming Rwandan female artist whose music is slowly but surely picking up in Uganda and across East Africa. She has collaborated with some Ugandan artists like Big Trill, GNL Zamba, Ray Signature and Lydia Jazmine among others. The singer is now looking forward to an international breakthrough. Chano8 recently got in touch with her to find out more about her personal life and music career.
Jody Phibi is a Rwandan female Afro pop artist born for music and to make music.
She considers family as those people who surround her with love and believe in her. In that sense she has a huge family of the people who she’s biologically related to.
In terms of music aspirations, she has always known that she wanted to sing since childhood. She took the first step in high school and started recording and featuring in other artists songs. With time she came to develop her own career and still working on establishing it and taking it to another level.
