Earlier today, a photo showing people helping a lady with a bloody broken leg made its way on social media and many people were quick to believe that it was singer Irene Ntale following social media reports that the singer had allegedly been involved in a nasty accident in Nakulabye, a Kampala city suburb.
What made many believe it was the Ntale was the fact that the lady in the trending photo to some extent resembles the ‘Gukuba’ singer but when you look closely, it is actually not Ntale despite the fact that many especially fans had believed until she took to her Face book and cleared the air.
“Goodmornin My lovely fans, Am alive, well and rehearsing to give you the best live experience come July/06 At Kampala Serena hotel. Please do not believe these accident rumors doing rounds online. Again I thank God for his Protection over our lives. Book your tickets now at Kampala Serena conference center. Thank you very much #ntaleunchainedjuly6thserena” Read Irene Ntale’s post
Like it has been through the years, whenever local artistes are nearing their concerts, they tend to do things which make news to create hype. Their critics also take that time upon themselves to spread false news about the artistes in the name of misleading the fans.
In this case, we should probably blame it on her critics who are hating on her now that she is preparing for her ‘Ntale Unchained’ concert on Friday the 6th of July 2018 at Kampala Serena Hotel. However, people have still taken it a planned stunt by Ntale to create more hype for her upcoming concert.
