There has been rumours moving around in some sections of media claiming Irene Ntale has left Swangz Avenue or is not happy and close to leaving the Myenga-based record label. However on Tuesday during the singer’s maiden album release party, her boss Julius Kyazze rubbished the claims.
“At Swangz avenue, we are a big family, no one is leaving and Irene Ntale is going nowhere and we are happy with her here as well as all the other members of Swangz avenue family”. Said the elusive Swangz director.
Irene Ntale herself confirmed and said she is not leaving as the rumours are baseless and she has no issues with Swangz avenue or with anyone at the record label. The rumors had claimed that Ntale was unhappy with her management over money issues and also that Ntale and Winnie Nwagi the other top singer from the label were not in good terms over superiority.
Kyazze promised t unveil a new breed of talent from Swangz avenue soon. He says they are still being groomed to perfection as bankable materials before being unleashed to the public. Some of these include Joel Kisakye, Zolanda and Blackskin among others.
Irene Ntale wearing a pink hugging dress looked emotional and even shed tears when Swangz Avenue family led by Kyazze presented her with a gift of framed copy of her album. She just let the tears flow freely as she accepted the gift.
The invite-only release party was graced by journalists, music producers, DJs, artistes and other invited guests who gave her positive reviews during the listening session where some of the songs were sampled.
