Maddox Ssemanda Sematimba returns for his much anticipated ‘Legend Live Concert’ this Friday 4th October 2019 after a long hiatus. The reggae icon will hold his ‘The Legend Live Concert’ at Sheraton Gardens.

Although there has been a  debate boiling in recent times over who is a legend of Maddox and Chameleone, it is no doubt the later is one of the greatest ever reggae artistes to grace the entertainment industry and attaching the legendary status to him wouldn’t be far fetched either way.

Any way back to the concert, the maestro has promised this time round a bigger performance in fact “three times bigger” than the previous one dubbed ‘Return Of The Champion’ he held at Imperial Royal. He also had a great performance at The Bell Jamz concert featuring Jamaican Chronixx at the same venue in June.

He also promised fresh material never heard before that he has been working on quietly. He was speaking to journalists at a press briefing to update on preparations going on.

“Mine will be a reggae concert with lots of lovers rock, roots reggae and pour reggae which you will enjoy” Maddox said when asked what he is bring on board which is different from the other so called ‘Legend’ concerts.

Maddox accompanied by DJ Kim and DJ L.L speaks to journalists at the press briefing yesterday.

“I can’t tell you how happy we are to be a part of this amazing event with Maddox. Pilsner Lager is a beer for Legends and Maddox is a Legend in the music fraternity here in Uganda. I urge everyone to come out and celebrate with us on 4th October at the Sheraton because it’s going to be an experience like no other,” said Simon Lapyem, acting Brand Manager Pilsner Lager, Uganda Breweries.

The organisers and sponsors with Maddox team at the briefing,

Some view this as an answered to Irene Ntale’s prayer after she posted on social media about 6 months ago pleading to events promoters to organize a concert for the man before the year ends. So Sprout Media and Pilsner Larger came on board and teamed up on this.
