Gospel singer Levixone is one who has not achieved much musically but his devoted heart towards Charity is a thing that shows the world that you don’t necessarily need to be stinking rich to give back to charity.
Through the years we have seen Levixone show a heart of selflessness helping families in Kosovo slum in Kampala where he was born and raised but this year, the 25 year old artiste decided to take it a notch higher with a charity concert dubbed ‘Levixone For Karamoja’ slated for Saturday the 14th of October at Uganda Museum located in Kitante, Kampala.
The hype has been on and if you haven’t heard/watched the ads on radio and TVs or seen the billboards on the streets, where do you live? Any way with just hours to the highly anticipated concert whose main aim is to build a primary school in Nakapiripirit district in Karamoja region, Levixone held a presser to shed more light on what the fans and the country at large should expect.
While speaking at the presser held at one of the MTN offices at Nyonyi Gardens in Kololo, Levixone promised fans how it it will not be about performance but a night to remember as well.
“I don’t really want to use words other artistes have used but it is going to be a night to remember. Only God’s presence will be full in the venue, heaven is going to open. Bring all the sick people because this is a charity cause because all the artistes who are going to perform have anointing. We have artistes from Kenya who praise and worship and skies open.” Levixone said
The singer however, called upon his fans to mark time as the show will be kicking off as early as 3 PM. “Show will kick off at 3 PM and by 4 artistes will have started to perform” Levixone added
Ahead of the concert 3 Kenyan gospel artistes namely Hope Kid, Alemba, DK Kwenyě Beat and a Dj called Mo are already in Kampala to support him at the concert and they accompanied him at the presser where they were given a few minutes to introduce themselves and say a thing on what fans should expect. On top of these, several other top gospel singers like pastor Wilson Bugembe, Hon Judith Babirye, Brian Lubega, Exodus, Sandra Suubi, Crystal Fabulous, Robinsan, Fortune Spice among many other gospel MCS and DJs in Kampala.
