As he was celebrating his 37th birthday last Saturday in Kigali, East Africa’s celebrated multi-talented artiste Dr Jose Chameleone took a time to premiere his new video ‘Agatako’ featuring Rwandese born singer Deejay Pius too. “AGATAKO” is a Kinyarwanda word literally meaning a special souvenir and decoration given to Lovers as a symbol to remind them of keeping their Love eternally.
The song features the versatile Rwandese artiste DJ Pius and in the video, shot and directed by Meddy Saleh of Press It Films, the camera’s go straight to the ‘souvenir’ dancing in rain. The dynamic duo of Radio and Weasel make a cameo appearance singing ‘Agatako’ chorus.
Jose Chameleone then makes his first appearance having a conversation with another lady on a round table. The smiles on the lady’s face and body language can tell that she was enjoying every moment with Chameleone. Deejay Pius appears in the second verse holding a guitar as he chats away with a group of sexy girls all ‘eyeing’ him with begging eyes.
The video generally portrays a lovey-dovey affair with both Chameleone and Pius in touch with the beautiful Rwandese ladies. The cultural dances are added into the story to spice up the movements and motion effects shot at night.
