Besides the Triplets Ghetto Kids who have had an amazing musical journey in the US alongside French Montana, Uganda can pride herself in Nancy Kacungira who is continuing to prove her dominancy on the globe by becoming the most sought after presenter on TV.
After an impressive run, Kacungira has permanently been given the role to host the popular BBC- Focus On Africa show that airs every Monday.
This comes after the Uganda born won the first BBC World News Komla Dumor Award in 2015, an award that was established to honour Komla Dumor, a presenter for BBC World News, who died in 2014.
Before joining BBC, Nancy Kacungira worked at Power FM before joining NTV Uganda and KTN Kenya where she was both a news anchor and Social Media Editor.
In 2010 Nancy co-founded Blu Flamingo; a digital media management company in Uganda that continues to grow online brand presence for several clients.
