In a country where, the fashion industry is still struggling to be recognised as a real money making job, the talented Kaijuka Abbas, founder of the Kaiso Divo collection has surely made a name for him self. He is a name never to missed on any runway with in the country.
After his recent Nigerian runway show case he was invited as one of the designers and contestants at the renown Swahili Fashion Week on the 1st to 3rd December where pulled of an amazing showcase.
The collection is called Gypsy,because it consists of varying materials and designs characterised with eclectic but smart cuts of sassy male outfits to create a new men’s fashion sphere with gigantic head pieces inspired by the royal and antique of the Egyptian gods and goddesses and Persian designs. The feminine pieces comprise of elegant and stylishly stitched draped dresses with ruffles, blended with bright colours like red, soothing ones like champagne, off-white and hues of black to add abit of drama to the simple princess-like ball gowns and chick classic attires.
