East Africa’s dynamic music duo Radio and Weasel are just counting a few hours to their highly anticipated ‘Omwana W’abandi’album launch which is slated to take place today at Hotel Africana-Kampala. Fans, fellow artistes and the ‘Juicy’ singers await this evening where they will take their fans on a music journey as they officially unveil their ‘Owana W’abandi album.
Fellow artiste King Saha who is currently in West Nile for the region’s music tour expected to begin today has a message for the duo. The ‘Gundeze’ singer will perform in Adjumani, Arua & Koboko today, Saturday and Sunday respectively. However, he posted on his Facebook page wishing Radio and Weasel all the best at their album launch.
We took efforts and called King Saha for a comment and he had this to say. “For sure if I was around I would really support them because they asked me earlier. It just came up that their launch came in when I had already been booked and my shows were organised long time ago.”
Recently, in an exclusive chat we had with Radio, he had no kind words for their haters who threatened to boycott their show because of taking part in the NRM ‘Tubonga Naawe’ project.
“Those who have issues with us shouldn’t come for the show. The show is for fans and haters should go and hang themselves. They have time for us but we don’t have time for them.” Radio said.
‘However, according to Radio and Weasel everything is set and they are ready to give their fans their best this evening. Entrance is 20,000 ordinary and 50,000 VIP. Chano8 will be there to bring you all the highlights.
