King Saha’s ‘Mwana Gwe’ Concert Overflows At Freedom City

R&B artist King Saha delivered as promised on Saturday night at his highly anticipated ‘Mwana Gwe’ family concert sponsored by Sms One, Middle East Consultants , Face TV , BBS Terefayina and Movit who gave gave every reveller in the VIP section body lotion and soap. The versatile star Saha stood up to his claim of best performer in East Africa successfully at the Entebbe road based Freedom City Mall with bouncing performances.

There was terrific nonstop entertainment from various talented curtain raisers and show time kicked off as early as 7PM. The first shift of performers were upcoming artistes, they included names like Genius Levy, Lasso, Ben Man, Jose Mountain, Ross Dopper, Grenade, Empra Nivan, Ragga Pimpy and Fiona Nsubuga.

The next round was for the known artistes including Rocky Giant who excited revellers with songs like ‘Pakalast’, next was Dr Hilderman doing ‘Koona’ and ‘Angella’ tunes. More artistes like New York, Chozen , Lydia Jazmine, Fefe Busi , Tip Swizzy , Shidy Stylo followed next before Big Size Bebe Cool threw the attendees who kept increasing every passing second into a frenzy with hits like ‘Ki Ekiganye’, ‘Kabulengane’ and ‘Azina Aseka’

The Luga flow super star Gravity Omutujju thrilled the crowd to heights doing ‘Money’ and ‘Winner’ songs. As time went on the main performer King Saha drew closer, the last round of performances saw artistes like Young Mulo, Aziz Azion, Mary Bata, Papa Cidy, Nince Henry, veteran singer Ragga Dee, Fik Fameikha, Omulangila Suuna, Dj Michael, Victor Kamenyo, Denzel, Ykee Benda and finally A Pass.

Wearing a maroon cap, black coat, maroon fitting pants and a white pair of shoes, King Saha took the stage at exactly 11:50 PM with a very warm welcome from the crowd. The whole place was on fire as he performed ‘Signal’, ‘Tonfaako’, Sikyakusobola’, ‘Princes’, ‘Teziwela’,’Suzana’ alongside Shidy Stylo, ‘Bantu Baffe’, ‘Kosazeewo’ and ‘Mulirwana’ songs with a supportive back up ‘Solid Band’.

As King took a break, the long awaited ‘Musawo’ diva Winnie Nwagi took the stage and performed before he (King Saha) joined her later with whom they performed their ‘Science’ collabo and later Saha concluded his performance doing ‘Gundeeze’ and the fans’ favourite ‘Mwana Gwe’

The event was fully attended, with the ordinary section having big numbers than VIP and there were socialites and celebrities in attendance who included, business man SK Mbuga, fashion designer Kim Swagga, music producer Benon, Public Relations Supervisor Movit Mr Kitenda Robert among others.
