Through the years ever since he broke through, Gospel singer Levixone Lala has been nominated in local and international awards. He has won some and lost some which has pushed him to even work harder
A few months ago, Levixone was over the moon following yet another nomination he scooped in the ‘Sauti Awards-Atlanta’ which took place over the weekend on Friday the 27th to Saturday the 28th of July 2018 in Atlanta at Riverstone Church
The ‘Samanya’ singer was nominated twice in these awards’ 3rd edition in the categories of ‘Song Of The Year West and East Africa’ and ‘Male Artiste Of The Year East Africa. He successfully emerged winner in one category and as we talk now, Levixone is the best male artiste in East Africa according to Sauti Awards 2018
“Sometimes God puts you in a position that undoubtedly tastes your FAITH, when I got nominated for the @sautiawards in the USA. It was first of all great achievement for me and my country Uganda that came with lots of Questions of whether I will win this award, but God said I will, even though it was hard to believe because the other nominees were also great and the fact they are coming from countries. My people God was faithful to us we got the BEST MALE ARTISTE OF YEAR EAST AFRICA 2018 award home! By God’s grace” Levixone shared his excitement on his social media platforms
Levixone managed to beat singers like Pompi, Goodluck Gozbert, Paul Clement, Guardian Angel and Moji Short Babaa hand down to the top prize and this becomes his first award in awards held outside Africa.
