We are not wrong to say that gospel music singer Levixone Lala is amongst the fast rising and ambitious gospel singers in the Pearl of Africa with an encouraging fan base that has through the years been giving him more courage to the music that has seen him release hit songs that have touched and changed people’s lives.
Last month he held a successful ‘Levixone For Karamoja’ concert at Uganda Museum that boasted of over 30 artistes’ performances and apparently, he is on a European music tour that kicked off on 3rd to until 22nd November.
The latest news we have on our desk about the ‘Samanya’ singer Levixone is that he scooped another nomination in Kenyan music awards called ‘Xtreem Awards’ slated for December in the category of Best Ugandan Artiste/Group that has contenders like Exodus, Robin San, G Way Dance Crew, Daisy Ejang, Bimz Suzario and Proclaim Xperince’
Last year, the singer scooped a nomination in Kenya’s Groove Awards in the category of ‘East and Central African Artiste of the year’, despite the fact that he did not win. However, his nomination acted as a big mileage to him on the Kenyan entertainment scene.
Chano8 contacted Levixone who is now in Cork City, Ireland ahead of his performance tomorrow and here is what he had to say in regards to the nomination he got in these upcoming awards.
“This is just a blessing from God and I would say God has remembered us in that they know Uganda also exists and the gospel is also growing and this is not good for only me Levixone but also the gospel family in Uganda.”
