If you follow Capital FM presenter Lucky Mbabazi’s social media platforms, you ought to have watched videos of herself working out. The videos have not only trended but raised a lot of questions on how she has maintained a fine body shape with a flat stomach, even after giving birth to four children
With the support of her husband Patrick Kanyomozi, a presenter at KFM and also the Uganda Sports Press Association (USPA) President, Lucky therefore came up with an idea called ‘Lucky’s Groove Back’ which is a fitness program and event where she invited people to come for an explanation about how she keeps fit. She invited fitness experts who will work out with the revellers.
Lucky’s Groove Back is basically to encourage people to do away with the mentality of ‘to be fit you need to go to the gym’, basing on the fact that Lucky has never been the gym herself.
While at a media briefing ahead of the event, Lucky had this to say
“Many people are dying young because of diseases that can be avoided by simply exercising, so when you come to Lucky’s Groove Back, we shall be equipping you with that knowledge and some of those things you need to keep your weight on your own because most of us are afraid that they cannot afford the gym”
Lucky’s Grove Back will be happening every three months and the inaugural event is set to take place this Saturday the 9th of March at the KCCA grounds in Lugogo
Participants will pay Ug Shs 20,000 to join the aerobics classes that will run from 4PM sharp to 7PM.
