Sunday night was horrible one to the people who gathered at the Vegas Strip in the USA city of Las Vegas for the Route 91 Harvest Festival (a country music festival) after a 64 year old retiree identified as Stephen Paddock with no real criminal history and no known affiliations with terror groups rained bullets down into a crowd killing at least 59 people and injuring hundreds more in the deadliest mass shooting in modern American history.
The attack, at least initially, was as inexplicable as it was horrifying and law enforcement officials said they could not immediately tell what drove Paddock to fire at thousands of unsuspecting concertgoers from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino before killing himself.
In all police say Paddock had 23 guns inside room 32135 of the Mandalay Bay hotel, and another 19 at his home. More information however indicated that the weapons were all Amarlite-15-style assault rifles, a weapon originally designed for use by the American military.
Us president came out to condemn this nasty act and termed as ‘Pure Evil’ but he promised to visit Las Vegas and the families of the deceased and the injured as the US government is with them in grief. Some information which might help the US police in more investigations alleges that Paddock’s father was a ‘psychopathic’ serial bank robber who spent eight years on the FBI Most Wanted list and FBI has since then raided all his houses
