When 27 year old Ronald Maganda aka Maro started out nobody knew who he was and where he would be in a few years. He started a group named Vocal police that included artists like Ray Kasenyanku and Empress . He later did a song named ‘Tonengela‘ which he featured Mickie Wine and Empress for the dancehall remix. He joined Fire Base crew which he later quit after only seven months after he decided to go solo which didn’t please the Ghetto President’s brother. He later joined Azziz Azion’s West End label and did songs like ‘Sulabulingi‘ and ‘Baby‘ , He later left them too due to unfulfilled promises. He went on to release songs like ‘Genda Ewamwe’ and ‘Kyokoba‘
He describes his style of music as the Vocal muffin Style where he fuses a bit of reggae into his R n B He recently had a very successful concert for charity at Mackinnon suites in Kololo that pulled a large crowd to celebrate his success. Later this month the self proclaimed ‘RnB kyabazinga’ will take on the biggest stage in Namboole at the Club Mega Fest on the 20th.
