Last year the Miss Earth Water was from Mbarara and Miss Earth Fire was from West Nile. We shall also have the overall Miss Earth Uganda who will have won Miss Fire, Water and Air and she will represent Uganda in Philippines on the 29th of October this year.” The public relations officer Miss Earth Uganda Andrew Kyamagero told journalists.
While asked why some districts like Mbarara, Kabale, Arua and others don’t have representatives, Andrew said that the districts weren’t compliant and that’s why they were not represented.
“Miss Earth Uganda entirely looks at conservation and preservation of the environment and we have a plan of planting 10 million trees.” Andrew Kyamagero added.
