On Friday the 28th of October last year, the Red Sofa Sessions, a platform for Christians in the market place where they meet, network and have conversations over a cup of coffee and music was the second edition and it had interesting things that came to pass like the breathtaking performances, poetry sessions and of course not forgetting the refreshing coffee and snacks and interactions amongst the attendees.
That night saw artistes like veteran gospel singer Silver Kyagulanyi, Coopy Bly, Sandra Suubi and Ken Miziki entertain the encouraging crowd that came through for the very first edition and the third edition is coming our way next week on Saturday the 28th of January at Garden City Roof Top where the previous edition was also held.
The event boasts of performances from singer Brian Lubega, Canana Gents, inspirational talks from Dickson Mushabe co-fouder and CEO Hostalite and Dr Margaret Sekidde who will be sharing her living testimony about business where she and her husband Retired Lieutenant colonel Robert Sekidde began renting a very small shop on Market Street, Kampala selling a few bags of cement, nails, locks and paint but twenty years on, they run the biggest hardware dealership in the country and a multi-billion business estate comprising schools and real estate from shopping malls in town to commercial buildings dotting Kampala’s several suburbs.
The entry fee for the event slated to kick off by 6PM, is only Uganda Shillings 20,000 and the event is proudly sponsored by NTV, Good African Coffee, Platinun Gospel and Ug Gospel Life. Chano8 will there to bring to you event highlights.
