Mbarara town was all over social media the last couple of days and this was after the famous cow statue was tampered with. This sparked off a social media backlash but after a few days, the cow was restored.
If you want to see this for yourself, pass by Mbarara on Good Friday for the Neon Rave Party.
Organised by Tusker Lite, the series of events debuted with the “Neon At The Bridge” party that was held under the newly constructed Jinja bridge in March.
The Neon Rave party Mbarara edition will be held at Rotary Grounds and organisers say it is set to be bigger and better with some of the biggest entertainers, including musicians and DJs, neon dancers, 3D cinema by the All Famous DJs, a tattoo parlor, games and many other cool activities.
“At Tusker Lite we are all about “liting the way” to new fun experiences. These parties are a way of giving back to our loyal consumers, spending time with them and also opening the doors of our vibrant lifestyle to new consumers. Come ready to experience the best and enjoy cold Tusker Lite of as We Lite Mbarara,” said the Uganda Breweries’ Brand Manager for Premium Spirits Cathy Twesigye.
Organisers also promise that the Neon Rave parties will be happening in major regions around the country. Fort Portal and Gulu towns are already on the list.
