With only a few days left to the blankets and wine event, fans can’t help it but be excited. As the fear of missing out sky rockets, tickets to the highly anticipated event that will see some of the finest Ugandan musicians light up the stage, are running out fast.
Following a massive turn up and an ever growing presence, Blankets and Wine ‘East Africa’s premier music experience designed to showcase outstanding musicians in the emerging genres of afro-based music.’
This time round, dynamic duo Radio and Weasel, Suzan Kerunen, Janzi Band and Eric Wainaina will headline the event that is slated to take place at the Uganda National Museum this weekend.
We recently got a chance to talk Muthoni the founder of the Blankets and Wine event in Uganda, she said the reason she brought the event to Uganda was because it was ready.
‘They enjoy music, they love musicians, they love to party and the thing that was missing in the Ugandan scene was something for the up market audience,’ she said.
And if that wasn’t enough, she also went on to say that there is nothing like Blankets and Wine in Uganda, only making it the ideal market.
