Chano8 has landed on exclusive behind-the-scenes information that NTV stars Frank Walusimbi and Farida Nakazibwe could soon be on their way to NBS TV. According to a very reliable source, the duo is in the last stages of joining the Kamokya-based TV station known for recruiting the best talent from rival stations.
As a matter of fact, NBS TV has done this successfully in recent times. The station has managed to ship in most of top presenters and reporters from NTV as Douglas Lwanga who used to present The Beat program is the latest acquisition. Top management at NBS TV is still quiet about the move as it is waiting for the right time to announce the two.
However, Farida is not keen on disclosing the deal yet. Speaking to a very close friend of the Akawungeezi news anchor, we learnt that Farida is open to the move but still keeping it as her topmost secret at this stage although similar rumours had surfaced before especially at the end of last year.
Faridah Nakazibwe became a tabloid subject when news leaked that she was dating NRM’S vice Chairperson Hajji Moses Kigongo. Their love affair didn’t last before the presenter met Dr. Omar Ssali and the two immediately made their relationship official in an Islamic ceremony held in Dubai.
The ceremony was held out of the country, to avoid any encumbrances as Nakazibwe had just recently been attached to the powerful and wealthy NRM Vice Chairman Al. Hajji Musa Kigongo. There is also the pending issue of Dan Nankunda the father of her two daughters.
Nakazibwe and Malik have been dating since late last year when Faridah broke up with Kigongo and looked to be settled in his relationship and work.
Meanwhile, Frank Walusimbi on the other side grew up admiring the late Venatio Senoga who hosted a well-researched science show on Radio Uganda in the age Internet was unheard of. He joined radio while in his Senior Six vacation and his star has continued to shine up to now.
