West Nile’s pride Onduparaka FC return to action this weekend as they take on sleeping giants Express FC in a mouth-watering clash as the Uganda Premier league resumes after a long break which allowed national team players represent the country at the just concluded CHAN tournament in Morocco.

The two teams served fans with one of the most exciting encounters of the first half of the 16-team league which ended 2-1 in favour of the Caterpillars. Veteran striker Caesar Okuthi scored a spectacular goal in that match to collect maximum points for Livingstone Mbabazi’s team who finished a respectable 4th on the log.

Onduparaka who host the Wankulukuku boys at Green Light stadium tomorrow will also be itching to unleash their six new signings which they recently unveiled, hopping they can add up to their fire-power upfront in which they struggled a bit following the departure of star striker Muhamad Shaban to KCCA. Express also lost 6-goal striker Daniel Sserunkuma to KCCA FC during the off-season.

The match which will be live on Azama TV, kicks off at 4pm with entrance fee set at 5,000/-

In other notable games, Police take on Mbarara in Namboole looking to kick-start the second round on a high and also improve on their 5th finish on the log for first round.

While Vipers take on a new look Soana with Alex Isabirye now at the helm at Kavumba Reacretion Grounds taking with them a healthy record where they have not lost a match.
